The Great Depression lasted 10 years and FDR’s plan to “shake it off” was called the New Deal. the New Deal was massive having a huge bank reform package that helped thousands of banks reopen and certified them letting the public know that those banks work and are secure and able to operate fully. The New Deal also had a whole ton of new departments that covered many different areas that covered many things ranging from electricity in the TVA (Tennessee Vally Authority) to the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) that created most of the trails in the National parks of the United States and conserved the ones already present. The New deal Employed thousands of people which helped them earn money and support their families even though some of these agency’s only accepted men into them. This made sure FDR’s plans “won't stop movin'“ and reform continued.
